History

This large building stands on the site of an old inn established here in the 16th century.

Some of the buildings were remarkable for their 17th-century woodwork.

Above all, the courtyard held a vast old shed sheltering the stagecoaches to Dreux, Creil and Gisors. It stood out for a timber frame spanning 15 metres, almost 20 metres deep, resting on masonry pillars.
